Sustainability Analyst

About the Role

Exciting opportunity to shape the sustainability agenda within a leading global reinsurance business. Join a fast-paced environment where you'll directly contribute to executing sustainability strategy across carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, validate, and analyse data for carbon accounting and environmental management systems
• Support preparation of annual sustainability reports and disclosures, coordinating inputs from global teams
• Manage ESG rater relationships including communication, data input, and progress reporting
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency, employee engagement)
• Conduct research on sustainability standards and market trends, benchmarking performance against industry
• Collaborate across departments to integrate sustainable practices and develop new policies
• Provide administrative support to the Global CSR Office and Green Group activities

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent with evidence of sustainability-related project work or academic research
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret numerical datasets and present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
• Keen interest in sustainability within Insurance
