Industrial Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for CNC Setter/Programmer for their Manufacturing Client in the Wolverhampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing role within a fast-paced and well-established manufacturing environment.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 (Rotating)

*

Friday: 06:00 - 12:00 / 12:00 - 18:00

*

Must be flexible to work rotating shifts

Pay Rate:

*

£36,000 - £40,000 DOE

Job Duties:

*

Setting up CNC machines including loading materials, tooling, and fixtures

*

Adjusting machine settings such as speeds, feeds, and tolerances

*

Writing, editing, and optimising CNC programs (G-code/M-code)

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models

*

Operating CNC machines to produce aluminium components

*

Carrying out in-process inspections using measuring equipment (verniers, tapes, etc.)

*

Troubleshooting machining, tooling, or programming issues

*

Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of machines

*

Recording production data, tooling usage, and setup information

*

Working collaboratively with engineers and production teams to improve processes

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer (minimum 1-2 years)

*

Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code/M-code)

*

Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Experience working with aluminium (desirable)

*

Experience with multi-axis machining (3-5 axis preferred)

*

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

*

Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
