What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader, or deputy role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Ability to lead staff and maintain consistent standards across rooms
What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the setting
- Lead staff practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Monitor room standards, planning, and child development outcomes
- Provide guidance and supervision to practitioners and senior staff
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures
- Step into management responsibility in the manager’s absence
