Hourly Rate: From £13.33PH
Working Pattern:Full Time. Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-4:30PM and Friday 7:00AM-12:30PM

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant manufacturing environment? We have just the role for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Truck Driver to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

● Perform daily safety checks on forklifts and report any defects or damage to the manager.

● Maintain cleanliness of forklifts on a weekly basis to the agreed standard.

● Adhere to the Chain of Custody procedure during goods receipt and report any issues to the Procurement Manager.

● Check all deliveries for quantity and stock type before the delivery.

● Ensure stock is accurately booked into the system and labelled correctly.

● Communicate effectively with the Programming team regarding mixed material or part packs.

● Separate and re-palletise mixed pallets on the day of delivery.

● Monitor tasks through the scanner app and prioritise workload effectively, including requests via Slack or in person.

● Remove and manage waste, ensuring it is deposited into the correct skips, and organise skip collections ensuring that the Facilities Manager is also aware

● Uphold housekeeping standards by following the "Clean As You Go" policy and maintaining the yards and sheds.

What We're Looking For:

Valid FLT counterbalance licence
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
A positive attitude and great teamwork skills
