KS2 Teaching Assistant - Stockport

Are you an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for full-time work? Tradewind are currently recruiting for a full-time role for a school based in Handforth. This is a long-term role starting after Easter (17/04/2023), and lasting up until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go onto a permanent contract with the school for the right candidate.

Details of the role:

You will be working across Years 5 and 6, supporting the main classrooms with small group and 1:1 interventions boosting subject knowledge. This is a great opportunity to help students prepare for their transition into secondary schools, and to support their wellbeing as well as academic results. Your day-to-day can include:

Supporting pupils with developmental difficulties in reading, writing
Assisting with behavioural support where necessary
Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
Helping to provide a stimulating learning environment for studentsOur market leading rates or pay range between £70 - 77 per day depending on the role and your level of experience.

Have KS2 school-based experience
Ideally have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
