Our client, a warm and welcoming early years setting, is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Deputy Room Leader to support their vibrant 2–3 year olds room. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified early years professional who’s ready to take the next step in their career, bringing energy, care, and leadership to a well-established and child-focused team.

As Deputy Room Leader, you’ll support the Room Leader in managing the day-to-day running of the 2–3 year olds room. You'll lead by example, helping to guide and support the team, plan engaging activities, and ensure a high standard of care and education is delivered at all times.
What You’ll Need
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Experience working with 2–3 year olds in a nursery setting
- A sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Confidence in supporting others and taking on additional responsibility
- A caring, professional, and team-focused attitude

Key Responsibilities
- Support in planning and delivering inspiring, play-based learning experiences tailored to 2–3 year olds
- Actively engage with children to support their development across all areas
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Help mentor and guide other practitioners in the room
- Step up in the absence of the Room Leader to ensure continuity and quality of care
