Service Engineer

Carbon60 are currently hiring for a service engineer to join our global-leading water industry client at their customer site in Immingham.

The purpose of this role is to act as the technical focal point for all of our client's equipment on site providing service and support whilst carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs when required.

This will include an array of water treatment equipment, pumps, motors, chemical feed pumps, controllers, and other associated instrumentation.

Working Hours: Mon-Friday with on-call duties (One in four weeks)

Salary: Up to £32k p/a

Role Responsibilities:

Complete planned preventative maintenance throughout the plant including: various pumps, motors, controllers
In the event of issues/breakdowns, complete fault-finding and repair in a timely manner
Complete necessary reports
Maintain spare parts ensuring there is adequate supply through the order system
Prepare water samples for lab analysis: sample collection, labelling and shipment to laboratory
Provide technical support and service at the customer site
Liaise effectively with various customer contacts on-site - ensuring all feedback/enquiries are relayed to the correct department
On-call: One week in four

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Qualified in a relevant Science, Engineering or Technical subject or Mechanical Apprenticeship/ Experience of Site Maintenance
Experienced in the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment
Mechanical maintenance experience
Chemistry qualification (desirable)
Experience within an industrial environment (desirable)
