Job Title: Contract Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid Working)
Contract Length: 12 Months
IR35 Status: To Be Determined

Rate: £40-50 per hour

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract position with a leading client based in Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative engineering projects in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and development of mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks CAD
Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations
Engineer valves, pumps, and flow control systems for cryogenic environments
Evaluate and account for the impact of low temperatures on material properties
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a marine or offshore engineering contextRequired Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD
Strong background in FEA/CFD analysis
Experience designing for cryogenic applications
Knowledge of material behavior at low temperatures
Previous work in marine or offshore industries is highly desirableHow to Apply:
