Service Manager - Learning Disability And/Or Autism

Right now, we are actively recruiting a Service Manager to manage our Supported Living and Outreach Support Service and make a difference in the lives of our Service Users with Learning Disability and/or Autism.
Role Description: The Service Manager will be involved in the day to day management of R ainbow Living growing services in line with the company ethos.
As the Service Manager you will be required to focus on providing and maintain ing the highest quality of standards and service delivery in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) compliance, care management, care standards, regulations and Service User value .
The Service Manager will collaboratively liaise with the Registered Manager and S enior M anagement to ensure smooth running of the service and maintain service contracts, standards, attaining good practice and meeting all legal requirements .
Finally, actively networking amongst Health and Social Care related organisations and bodies to develop and maintain a good working relationship .
In line with the growth strategy, you will be part of development of new, high quality and service user centric services and a culture that values the highest standards of care, quality and safety .
Duties & Responsibilities: To oversee the day to day management of the service .
To adher e and implement Rainbow Personnel Policies and Procedures .
To adher e t o National Guidelines, Legislations and Standards .
To monitor that care provided is person-centred and in line with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model and active support principles to ensure effective care delivery.
To devise, implement and supervis e initial service-user ’s holistic r isk a ssessments, r isk m anagement p lans and support plans.
To a dher e to governance , quality assurance and compliance m onitor and review quality standards through conducting service audits (Service Documentation, Service-User Care Files and Medication) on a regular basis .
To m aintain robust systems to ensure quality, safety and effective care delivery .
To p lan and monitor the s ervice- u sers daily therapeutic / rehabilitation activities .
To i dentify and deal with safeguarding issues Alerts, Complaints, prepare Drafts CQC Notifications and attend Local Authority Safeguarding and Strategy M eetings .
To p rovid e effective leadership; thus, ensuring the service is well led, guiding and supporting all categories of staff : T eam L eaders and S upport W orkers .
To assist with training and induction of new staff, apprentice, students on-placement and volunteers .
To m anage s taff r otas .
To manage and supervise Team Leaders To c onduct s taff supervision and appraisal to Team Leaders on a regular basis.
To p lan and arrang e s taff training and meetings on a regular basis.
To effectively manage with service user monetary issues and conducting regular audits .
To acknowledge and report s taff complaints, issues and conflicts to Registered Manager and Senior Management.
To cover O n- C all , be flexible and able to cover when required on short notice .
To conduct regular Service SPOT Checks.
To conduct regular Surveys through liaising and involving Service-Users, Families and Commissioners, Social Workers and other professionals.
To a ttend meetings and conferences on behalf of the organisation when delegated by the Registered Manager or senior management .
To compile and p rovid e a Key Performance Indicator (KPI)- Weekly Service R eport to the Registered Manager and Senior Management on a regular basis .
