I'm working with two Local Authorities that urgently need to find an Interim Assessments Officer and Annual Review Officer

London based Local Authority
Role: Interim Assessments Officer
Start Date:  August 2025
Day Rate: Up to £290 p/day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: Initial 3 months
Working Pattern: Remote/Hybrid - 1 day/week in-office
Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory assessment framework
Proven experience within a local authority SEND team or educational setting
Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage complex processes
Competence in handling sensitive information and maintaining detailed case records

Role: Interim Annual Review Officer
Start Date: August 2025
Contract Length: Initial 4 months  
Day Rate: £340 p/day (Inside IR35)
Working Pattern: Remote/Hybrid - 2 days/week in-office
Requirements:

Solid experience within a local authority SEND team or equivalent setting
Expertise in EHCP annual reviews and the statutory amendment process
Confidence to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with families and multi-agency teams
