A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a specialism in French or Spanish is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Barnet, commencing as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to cultivate a love of languages and diverse cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver engaging French/Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
* The role involves fostering an appreciation for different cultures and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the target language.
* You will cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French or Spanish is essential.
* Native or near-native fluency in either French or Spanish is expected.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages, are vital.
