Meridian Business Support are seeking a Operations / Warehouse Supervisor to join the team of a global distribution company at their site in Middleton (M24)

£30,000 - £35,000 DOE
42 Hours per week - Day Shifts.
4 x shifts per week working either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday

Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities

Lead from the front: Drive shift performance across key KPIs—quality, volume, efficiency, and safety.
Champion safety and process adherence: Maintain the highest standards while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Own improvements: Identify and implement process enhancements that streamline workflows and remove bottlenecks.
Coach and develop your team: Support operatives through regular feedback, one-to-ones, and performance management.
Communicate effectively: Ensure the team is aligned on goals, updates, and shift plans through regular briefings.
Manage the flow: Oversee intra-shift operations, resolve disruptions, and allocate resources smartly.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with internal teams—HR, L&D, Health & Safety, eComm, Retail, and more—to meet and exceed targets. 
Warehouse Supervisor key skills / experience:

3+ years' experience in warehousing operations (D2C preferred).
2+ years' experience leading and developing teams in a warehouse setting.
Strong working knowledge of WMS systems and process-level change.
Proven ability to foster a safety-first culture and drive high standards.
Hands-on experience with holiday approvals, absence management and disciplinary processes.
