Reed is working with a prestigious private nursing and healthcare business delivering bespoke care to self-funded clients in their own homes across Kensington, West London, and surrounding areas. They are known for their nurse-led approach and exceptional standards, the company prides itself on looking after their clients with care and passion. We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead compliance, governance, and quality assurance.
The Role
As the legally accountable Registered Manager, you will ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive safeguarding conversations. You will also undergo a CQC interview post-appointment to confirm registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and CQC’s five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-Led.
- Develop and monitor governance and quality assurance systems.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and manage safeguarding concerns.
- Lead annual business planning and service improvement initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and families, ensuring person-centred care.
- Oversee health and safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
- Nursing background strongly preferred (Registered Nurse or similar clinical experience).
- Previous managerial experience in healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC compliance and governance.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Working Hours & Flexibility
- Standard hours: 9:00 – 18:00 (with 1-hour unpaid break)
