Supply SEN Teaching Assistant- Job Type: Part-time, Supply

We are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, working across various SEN schools in Sheffield. This role is ideal for individuals who have a background in SEND or SEMH environments and are flexible with travelling to different schools as required.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the educational and social development of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Work closely with teachers to tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioural plans.
- Provide support in classroom management and organisation.
- Facilitate communication between students and staff.
- Monitor and support the students' progress and well-being.
- Adapt resources to ensure accessibility for all students.
- Travel to different schools across Sheffield as part of the supply team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience in an SEND or SEMH environment.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different educational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient approach.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
