Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools

£45,000 base + door-to-door pay (OTE £60,000-£65,000)

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading machine tool business, providing specialist support to customers across the UK and occasionally in Scandinavia.

This role will suit a service engineer with a strong mechanical background (around 70/30 mechanical-to-electrical split) and proven experience maintaining, installing, and servicing CNC machine tools.

£45,000 base salary with door-to-door pay

Realistic on-target earnings of £60,000-£65,000

Travel across the UK with some projects in Scandinavia

Ongoing training and support with a well-established OEM
The role:

Installation, service, and breakdown repair of CNC machine tools

Mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair (with some electrical work)

Working closely with customers to ensure machines are running to spec

Occasional overseas travel to Scandinavia
About you:

Experienced in CNC machine tool service or maintenance

Strong mechanical skillset (70%) with solid electrical knowledge (30%)

Siemens control experience would be a strong advantage

Flexible to travel UK-wide (with nights away when needed)
