About the Role:

Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in Warrington and other sites across the North, are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to support their growing portfolio of commercial and industrial projects. With a strong reputation in delivering quality work across sectors such as education and healthcare, this is a chance to join a team at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installations on a range of commercial and industrial projects.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare comprehensive tenders.
Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost efficiency.
Identify value engineering opportunities and provide alternative solutions where beneficial.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders during the tendering process.
Stay informed of current market rates, industry trends, and materials pricing.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction sector.
Strong background working on projects in the education, healthcare, commercial, student accommodation or industrial sectors.
In-depth understanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively under deadlines.
