This role suits a technically focused individual who enjoys working outdoors and is passionate about delivering real on-site environmental improvements. It is primarily site-based with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

The Role - Graduate Remediation Engineer / Remediation Engineer

Support the technical delivery of remediation and enabling projects
Ensure environmental controls and engineering best practices are upheld
A practical and varied role from site setup to reporting and verificationKey Responsibilities:

Assist with remediation strategies, method statements & risk assessments
Support Materials Management Plans & permit/licence applications
Supervise site activities (earthworks, drilling, excavation, etc.)
Conduct environmental monitoring (soil, water, gas, noise, dust)
Operate & maintain soil/water treatment systems
Sample scheduling, analysis & assessment against project criteria
GPS surveying & accurate site record keeping
Liaise with clients, regulators & third-party verifiers
Compile data for completion reports & health & safety documentationRequirements:

Graduate Remediation Engineer:
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Civil Engineering or similar
Strong interest in environmental engineering
Valid UK driving licenceRemediation Engineer:

2-5 years' experience in remediation, site investigation or environmental consultancy
On-site experience with monitoring, sampling, and earthworks
Knowledge of remediation methods & environmental compliance
Report writing & use of environmental monitoring toolsTeam player with a flexible, can-do attitude
