At Hapton Child and Adolescent Services, we are looking for a Home/Assistant Manager for our brand-new children's home in Castleford, Wakefield.

The Willows is a 4 bed home which will provide care and support to children and adolescents who have emotional and behavioural needs and or a learning disability. The children may have also suffered trauma and as a result require support with their mental health. The age range of the children who will reside and live at the Willows will be 5 years old to 17 years old.

In an emergency we may also provide short term residential care for children who may need this or for families who require support at the time.

The Willows has a hands on, supportive responsible individual, a Senior Registered Manager who has helped prepare all the SC2 application, of course we would want you to give your personal final touch but our focus would be to find the right leader who can champion our love led model, within a therapeutic setting.

We are looking for an individual who has two years' experience working in residential childcare, has a level 3 to 5 residential childcare and has ideally worked at deputy or manager level with a good or outstanding rating.

* You must hold a Level 3 or 4 NVQ/Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.

* Ideally, you will hold a relevant Level 5 NVQ qualification or be working towards.

* Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.

* Be available and flexible for on call duties
