Autism Specialist Learning Support Assistant
Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an Autism Specialist Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a full-time temporary basis.
The successful LSA will join the schools Special Educational Needs department and will work 1:1 and in small groups with students with Autism and additional needs.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Working one-to-one with students within the schools SEN provision.
- Providing classroom support to students with Special Educational Needs.
- Supporting students with their behavioural, emotional and social development.
- Establishing positive professional relationships with students and interacting with them according to their individual needs.
