This rewarding role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced cover supervisors, or teaching assistants ready to step up. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.

• Location: Beautifully situated in the green suburbs of Cheshire East

• Start Date:Immediate / ASAP

• Duration: Ongoing, with potential for long-term or permanent placement

• Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (term time only)

• Daily Rate: £90 - £110, dependent on experience and qualifications

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Ensuring pupils remain on task and complete set work

• Reporting back to the relevant teaching staff on pupil engagement and behaviour

• Providing support where necessary to help students access learning

• Have prior experience working with secondary-age students (e.g. in a school, youth work or tutoring capacity)

• Be confident managing behaviour and engaging with young people

• Be adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure

• Possess a good standard of education (minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths)

• Hold a valid DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
