Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)Location: Secondary Schools across Lewisham

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment in Lewisham. This is a full-time role, 5 days per week, ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

The Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to support students both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to students

• Supporting students with additional learning needs across the secondary curriculum

• Assisting with classroom management and lesson delivery

• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (essential)

• Experience within a secondary school setting

• A patient, proactive, and supportive approach

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine commitment to supporting young people
