Limewood Care Home is a purpose built service in Stafford, providing specialist dementia, nursing and respite care for 59 residents. The home offers a structured and supportive environment for individuals with complex health needs, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

Role Overview
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the home by ensuring the building, equipment and external areas are safe, well maintained and fully operational. Your work will have a direct impact on the comfort, safety and overall environment for residents and staff.

You will carry out a range of maintenance tasks including general repairs, basic electrical checks, minor installations and routine upkeep. You will also maintain outdoor areas, ensuring the grounds remain tidy, safe and welcoming.

You will support health and safety compliance by carrying out regular checks, including fire safety systems and equipment, while identifying and reporting any issues promptly. Working closely with the wider team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and well organised environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in maintenance or a similar practical role
  • Good skills across general repairs and basic electrical work
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • A reliable, flexible and proactive approach
