What you will do:
Support the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of the Children With Disability team
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and practitioners
Oversee complex cases involving children with disabilities and additional needs
Ensure timely assessments, safeguarding interventions, and care planning
Promote a strengths-based and child-centred approach to practice
Participate in strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and legal planning meetings

Strong leadership and supervisory skills
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and disability-related legislation
Excellent decision-making, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to manage complex cases and support practitioners
Strong organisational and performance management skills
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
Experience:
Significant post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care
Experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs
Experience supervising or mentoring social work staff
Experience in safeguarding and statutory social work practice
