Surveyor - Property Services

Location: Borough/Bermondsey (SE1) / Hybrid working
Salary: £44,430 - £47,628 p.a. DOE
Contract: Permanent

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Surveyor to join our client - Southwark's largest resident-managed housing organisation. With 1600 homes between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, you'll be responsible for ensuring their responsive repairs and void services are efficient, safe, and high-quality.

Role Highlights:
Specify and manage repairs across tenanted and void properties
Diagnose complex repairs and damp/mould cases
Manage budgets and authorise works
Monitor contractor performance and maintain KPIs
Provide technical advice across the team
Support long-term improvements and proactive maintenance planningAbout You:
Technical surveying/repairs background (preferably in social housing)
HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Surveying or Construction
Skilled in diagnosis, specification, and contractor liaison
Excellent communication and IT skills
Comfortable working with residents and across teams
Strong understanding of building safety and complianceWhat's on offer:
