Field Service Engineer

Hours: Monday - Friday days only

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Depending on experience) + Overtime Opportunities

Overtime: Paid door-to-door 1.5x anything over contracted hours (Mon-Fri) 2x on weekends

(Nationwide Travel Required, overnight stays 1-3 nights per week on average)

The Role

This is a mobile position involving travel to customer sites, carrying out installation, servicing, breakdowns, maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of specialist equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, repair, install, and maintain specialist equipment across multiple locations

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive breakdowns

* Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems

* Complete accurate job sheets, reports, and all relevant documentation

* Work independently to manage your schedule and workload effectively

* Support project-based installations when required

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on engineering role

* Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics

* Full UK driving licence

* Willingness to travel nationwide with overnight stays (1-3 nights per week)
