About the Role

As an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2. Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers
• Leading small group interventions, especially in literacy and numeracy
• Supporting children with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
• Collaborating with teachers to track pupil progress and tailor support accordingly

This part-time position offers flexibility while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact within the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• HLTA status or equivalent experience in a UK primary setting
• A warm, adaptable, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed academically and emotionally
• Confidence in managing a classroom and leading learning independently
