We are seeking an energetic and commercially minded Operations Centre Manager to lead the daily operation, development, and strategic progression of a modern Innovation Centre. The role combines facilities management, tenant engagement, business support, project development, and community-building across a high growth environment.
The postholder will ensure excellent service delivery for all tenants, visitors, and partners, maintaining the hub's operational standards, supporting contract management, and contributing to the wider innovation, enterprise, and skills strategy.
The role includes promoting occupancy, negotiating lease and hire agreements, resolving tenant issues, and managing events, workshops, and business programmes. You will also work closely with the finance and operational teams to support the site's commercial performance.

Training Period
Prior to the centre's opening (April 2026), you will complete training days across other operational sites to gain insight into processes, systems, and best practice.

Principal Duties

1. Property & Operations Management
Oversee daily site operations and ensure high-quality service delivery
Act as the main point of contact for tenants
Lead on compliance including health & safety, routine maintenance, and contractor management2. Business & Community Engagement
Build partnerships with local stakeholders and industry leaders
Promote the centre as a hub for innovation and business growth
Organise events, workshops, networking sessions, and community outreach3. Financial & Commercial Operations
Manage budgets and operational expenditure
Negotiate tenant leases and agreements
Drive opportunities for revenue generation and efficiency4. Marketing & Digital Presence
Create and manage digital content for social media
Lead marketing campaigns promoting centre services and business support
Raise the visibility of the centre and its activities
Other Information
The postholder is an emergency keyholder and must live within reasonable distance
Some travel to meetings/events is required
Occasional out?of?hours work may be needed
