Job Title: Testing Electrician (C&G 2391)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Testing Electrician (C&G 2391) to join a well-established electrical contractor working across a range of projects in Norfolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled testing electrician looking for long-term, stable work, with the role offering a clear pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations

* Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

* Fault finding and rectification work on commercial systems

* Ensuring all work is completed in line with BS 7671 regulations

* Producing accurate reports and certification documentation

* Working across multiple commercial sites (offices, school, retail, industrial units, etc.)

* Liaising with site managers, clients, and other trades on-site

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times

Requirements

* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) - Essential

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition (BS 7671)

* ECS/CSCS Gold Card (preferred)

* Proven experience in testing and inspection within commercial environments

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Full UK Driving Licence
