About the Role:

Our Loughborough Testing Site is home to BSI's Energy Product Certification team that provide safety testing of electrical & electronics, energy storage, medical device, and gas appliance products.

As our new Calibration & Logistics Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead excellence across the coordination of test equipment calibration and our warehouse operation. You will ensure our testing teams have maximum availability of calibrated and serviceable measuring equipment across the lab; making sure equipment is calibrated and serviced within specified schedules and in accordance to UKAS regulations.

In addition, you will take ownership of the warehouse function, taking receipt of and booking out testing samples for the testing teams. You will also be responsible for interacting with clients, ensuring tested samples are returned or disposed of accordingly.

We are looking for an individual who can drive change and improvement, coordinate effectively with our testing teams, provide accurate data entry to our internal systems, and help drive quality related issues to satisfactory and timely resolutions.

About You:

* Ideally you be qualified to at least A Level Standard in Maths & English.

* You will be conversant with IT systems including MS Office.

* Be able to understand technical requirements and work with data.

* Able to project manage and time manage effectively.

* Able to converse with stakeholders at all levels across the business.

* You will need to be a highly motivated, solutions orientated - willing to challenge the status quo to seek improvement.
