An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Gate Automation Engineer to join our client. This position involves predominantly remote working, with weekly visits to Leicestershire to replenish stocks and collect equipment.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong background in Gate Automation and Access Control systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 per annum + overtime (DoE and product knowledge)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: East Midlands

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of new Gate Automation Systems
- Retrofitting and upgrading safety features
- Performing service and maintenance tasks
- Diagnosing and resolving faults
- Ground working as part of a two-person team for new installations
- Effective communication with residents and customers
- Providing detailed and accurate reports to the office via tablet
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience with Gate Automation Systems, especially with brands such as CAME, ROGER, BENINCA, and BFT
- Welding experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of Door Entry Systems, Access Control Panels, and Door Automation Systems is advantageous
- Ideally hold an Electrical Installation Qualification
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety aspects related to gate/door automation systems
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Valid UK driving license
- Responsible and careful in managing oneself, team members, and property
