Psychology Teacher Required - Nottingham - January 2021

A secondary school in the Nottingham area have contacted TeacherActive to aid their requirement of a Social Science Teacher, specialising in Psychology, to start this coming January 2021 on a full time, long term cover basis. It is preferable the teacher has QTS, but the school are also happy to consider teachers who have other formal teaching qualifications including a PGCE in Post-14 Education and in Further/Post-Compulsory Education.

The role requires an exciting teacher who is able to engage students and make a difference in a school that has a good local reputation, and that has high ambitions. A strong classroom presence and good teaching ability is therefore essential for the successful teacher.

The school are willing to consider applications from newly qualified teachers and are offering a role with an excellent support structure and superb resources available.

Applicants are required to have:

* QTS/NQT status

* Experience teaching Social Sciences up to Key Stage 5

* Previous leadership experience in education

* A desire to make a difference to the education of students you work with
