PDI / Service Technician Peterborough

£32,000 basic, OTE £37,000

We are recruiting a PDI / Service Technician for a busy, well organised automotive retail operation in Peterborough. This is a stable, structured environment with consistent workflow and clear earning potential.

This role combines full PDI activity with servicing and light to medium mechanical work. It suits a technician who enjoys prep, inspections and getting vehicles retail ready to a high standard, but who is equally comfortable carrying out service work and general repairs.

The Role

Full Pre Delivery Inspections on cars and light commercial vehicles

Multi point checks and reporting

Rectifying mechanical faults identified during inspection

Routine servicing including filters, brakes and suspension work

Supporting the workshop with general mechanical repairs

Working efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance

This is not a tyre bay or fast fit only position. You will be trusted to manage your jobs properly and deliver right first time work.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Level 2 qualification

Proven workshop experience

Confident with servicing and general mechanical repairs

Good understanding of inspection standards

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Package

£32,000 basic, negotiable depending on experience

Bonus structure taking earnings to £37,000 OTE

Monday to Friday only
