This is a great chance to join an established nursery setting close to West Byfleet, Surrey as a Nursery Practitioner.
It’s a large setting with a fantastic outdoor play space, a dedicated baby garden, an indoor soft-play room and is close to local shops, the train station and local bus routes. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be organising your key children’s daily routines, liaising with parents, providing an enabling environment, and delivering high quality care. You will support each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning whilst providing effective interaction within a fun and stimulating environment that allows them to explore and discover new skills and experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences that are appropriate to their age and stage of development, and creating a nurturing environment with all required resources available to the children
- Ensure positive partnerships with parents/carers with thorough handover on daily collection and encourage their involvement in the nursery
- Understand and implement the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
- Regularly review and follow children’s care plans for any medical needs or dietary requirements, and inform management of any changes
- Observe, support and extend children’s development, update children’s learning journals with accuracy and detail
- Embrace a culture of self-evaluation, reflective practice and continual improvement with ongoing learning
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Have experience of working within Early Years and have knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
- Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required
