Henderson House Care Home is a well established care home in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. With a strong, experienced team and a welcoming, homely atmosphere, this is a service where staff can feel supported, valued and confident in delivering high quality care within a stable and well run environment.
Domestic / Laundry Assistant - Full Time, Part Time and Bank
- £12.71 per hour
- Flexible hours available, including contracts to accommodate school hours
- Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role Overview
As a Domestic / Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. Your work will directly support residents' comfort, dignity and overall wellbeing.
You will carry out a range of cleaning duties across bedrooms, communal areas and bathrooms, ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene. Alongside this, you will support with laundry, ensuring clothing and linens are handled safely, cleaned thoroughly and returned appropriately.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will follow infection prevention and health and safety procedures at all times, helping to create a positive and well maintained environment throughout the home.

- Previous domestic or laundry experience is desirable but not essential
