About the Role A leading global manufacturer is seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function through an exciting period of site development.
This role is hands-on and highly visible within the factory, focusing on driving engineering excellence and planned maintenance. The site has recently undergone significant investment and is a centre of excellence for advanced manufacturing technologies, including freeze-dried, spray-dried, and pod-based production. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and Lean/TPM principles, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the engineering function across production units, site services, and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and product standards.
- Manage maintenance operations, including PM and AM Pillar Leadership within a TPM environment using SAP PM.
- Develop and manage the site’s maintenance budget.
- Support the delivery of CAPEX projects in collaboration with the Engineering Project team.
- Contribute to the site’s Operational Master Plan and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For - Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in engineering management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in TPM and leadership of AM/PM pillars.
- Demonstrated ability in people development, coaching, and succession planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of food safety and hygienic engineering standards is preferred.
