Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheets and maintain accurate records of financial data.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide insightful financial reports and commentary to key stakeholders within the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous development of financial systems and procedures.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification or equivalent educational background in finance or accounting.
- Previous experience in a similar role within related sectors.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Preference to candidates with IFRS16 and lease accounting experience.
