The Role
Working closely with the wider People team, you will provide essential support across all areas of HR. This is a hands-on and varied position where no two days are the same.
You will be the go-to person for day to day queries, keeping things running smoothly while supporting both ongoing activity and key projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities
People Support and Administration

Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, offering guidance and support
Prepare and manage key documentation including offer letters, contracts and changes to terms
Maintain and update employee records on the HR system, ensuring accuracy at all times
Support the coordination of training sessions and internal initiatives
Assist with HR projects such as system improvements, change activity and wellbeing initiatives
Manage and support employee benefits administration and related queries
Employee Relations Support

Provide administrative support across employee relations processes including absence, performance and disciplinary matters
Attend meetings where required and take clear, accurate notes
Track actions and ensure follow ups are completed in a timely manner
Support the coordination of occupational health referrals and return to work processes
Assist with reporting and data to support decision making
Recruitment and Onboarding

Support the recruitment process from advert through to offer stage
Arrange interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the process
Carry out pre-employment checks including right to work and referencing
Ensure new starters are set up for success with a smooth and organised onboarding experience
Keep induction materials up to date and engaging
Compliance and Process

Support updates to policies and procedures, ensuring they remain compliant and easy to follow
Help communicate changes across the business in a clear and positive way
Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements where needed
About You

Previous experience in a HR or people focused role
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
Proactive, positive and solutions focused in your approach
Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information
Desirable

Exposure to employee relations processes
Experience using HR systems
CIPD Level 3
Experience within a fast-moving or operational environment
