This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a pivotal role within a high-performing finance team, offering exposure to group-level reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this position plays a key role in driving financial control, delivering accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. It's the perfect next step for someone looking to broaden their influence and visibility within a fast-paced, international environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare Management Reporting: Deliver clear and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports for both internal stakeholders and an international parent company, providing insight into business performance.Own Forecasting & Budgeting Cycles: Lead overhead budgeting and contribute to monthly forecasting activities, supporting financial planning in line with group timelines and business priorities.Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Partner with the Group Financial Controller on a variety of projects and ad-hoc tasks aimed at improving financial processes and systems.Ensure Financial Accuracy: Maintain the integrity of financial data through regular balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and thorough financial reviews.Drive Cost & Margin Analysis: Provide meaningful analysis around operational costs and margins to support informed, commercial decision-making across the business.Support External Reporting: Prepare statutory accounts and ensure all regulatory and tax-related reporting is completed accurately and on time, working closely with external auditors.Maintain Governance Standards: Play a key role in upholding internal controls and compliance, including documentation and testing in line with SOX requirements.Take Ownership of Key Accounts: Fully manage the accounting and reporting processes for a key business unit within the group, acting as a central point of contact for financial matters.Candidate Profile:This role will suit a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who is keen to make a tangible impact within a complex business setting.Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA)Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance management or similar roleStrong understanding of reporting, budgeting, and compliance standardsAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systemsStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsConfident communicator with a collaborative approach and commercial awareness
