Salary: £33000 - £41500/annum a generous bonus scheme, matched pen

A fantastic opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a top 100 law firm based in Wakefield. You will be joining an Investor's in People Platinum accredited organisation handling a portfolio of cases within your area of expertise within the Personal Legal Services department, you will be:

Responsible for own Claimant caseload within your area of expertise from initial instruction through to settlement/closure.
Conduct technical and quality training where necessary.
To manage own performance in line with targets and be responsible for agreed KPIs.
Deliver excellent client care to each of our clients.
Ensure cases are progressed in accordance with the Law Society and company policies and procedures.
Ensure reports, MI and records are completed by agreed deadlines to ensure the Manager has the information required to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
Attend Team Meetings and chair in the Managers absence, conducting sub-team meetings with any direct reports on a regular basis.
Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment. Person Specification

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE
Previous experience acting as a technical referral point for colleagues, providing training and guidance to more junior or new team members.
Proven track record of managing Employment claims as the lead fee earner within a similar role, experienced litigator with strong technical ability and practical knowledge of the tribunal court procedures.
Experience mentoring junior/developing colleagues, and a team player who acts as a role model to your colleagues.
Strong professional profile and experience developing the profile of the firm within the employment law field.
Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of work quality and client care.
Strong communication skills and excellent time management.
