Monarch Education is working with a Primary school in Shard end, Birmingham who are looking for a Teaching assistant to join this vibrant and inclusive educational environment dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child. This school community fosters a love of learning, and we are committed to providing high-quality education from Reception to Year 6. They are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in September 2025.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience of our students. You will work with children from Reception to Year 6, providing assistance in classrooms, supporting individual and group activities, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

- Support students with their learning, both academically and socially.

- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support.

- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

- Participate in the assessment and monitoring of student progress.

- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).

- Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
