Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Kensington & Chelsea (September Start)

Location: Kensington & Chelsea, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:00pm)
Contract: Long-term agency placement (via ANZUK)
Pay: £90-£105 per day

We are working with several high-achieving and well-resourced primary schools in Kensington & Chelsea, seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. These roles are excellent preparation for a PGCE or similar teacher training programme.

You will support the delivery of learning, assist pupils with literacy and numeracy, and take part in small group and 1:1 interventions. You'll gain invaluable classroom exposure and professional development in an exciting and fast-paced school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with small groups of pupils on English and Maths interventions

* Support the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

* Provide individual support to pupils with additional needs

* Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A university degree (any subject) or relevant youth/childcare experience

* Interest in teaching or child development

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
