• Average 8 to 12 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational protocols.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Driving License at least one years old with up to date CPC card and Tacho card.
• A clean driving record with no more than 6 points and no major endorsements..
• At least 1 years proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, HGV 2 or 1 level in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
