Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking agency Social Workers for its Adoption team.

There are 2 roles available in the Adoption assessment team.

The roles will last 3 months initially, offering £36 - £38 per hour.

Adoption team

• Assessing prospective adopters
• Delivering training
• Information events
• Attending panel
• Family finding
• Case holding: 2-3 assessments, up to 5-6 children for family finding
• Hybrid working: 1 day in the office, and 1 day per fortnight for team meeting, all visits are face to face

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have experience of undertaking adoption assessments
