Your skills are highly valued and could transfer seamlessly into a fulfilling role as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a well-regarded school in Bedford, seeking dedicated individuals to support students with diverse learning needs including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them access learning and thrive socially.

Work alongside teachers to adapt resources and implement tailored education plans.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing, sometimes assisting with personal care if required.

Collaborate with the SENCo and teaching staff to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed.

About You:

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially if you have experience in:

Care work (elderly, disability, or child care)

Support work, youth work, or roles in mental health

Nurseries, sports coaching, or community outreach

You'll also bring:

A compassionate and patient approach

Good communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to learn and adapt

Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2/3 TA or care-related certificates) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
