We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee works on a district heating project. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civils disciplines, and be confident coordinating site activities and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day site activities across mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes
*
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards
*
Monitor and enforce health & safety procedures and site compliance
*
Ensure all work meets project specifications, drawings, and technical standards
*
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
*
Work closely with the project manager, engineers, and client representatives
*
Identify and escalate any site issues or delays in a timely manner
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in a supervisory role on district heating, energy, or infrastructure projects
*
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical pipework, electrical systems, and civils (trenching, reinstatement, etc.)
*
Gold ECS card
*
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
*
First Aid at Work
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings and RAMS
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*
Background in CHP or district energy networks
*
Experience working in live environments or public-facing sites
*
Temporary works or lifting operations knowledge/certification
