Key Responsibilities of a Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum and running your own nurture group with SEN children.
Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs
Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement
The Ideal Candidate for this Early Years teaching assistant vacancy:
In order to work as an Early Years teaching assistant, you must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children
A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent experience)
A commitment to personal and professional growth
