Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a large and prestigious manufacturing business in Doncaster as they look to appoint an experience ledger manager to oversee both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, this will be a varied and autonomous role where will you be responsible for the day to day management of the function and 3 staff within. You will required to measure and drive productivity and performance within the departments as well as implement new procedures to create better efficiencies.
The main overview of responsibilities will include:
*Leading and managing a team (Including appraisals, 121s, training and mentorship)
*Overseeing and managing the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable process
*Processing supplier payment runs, managing and developing client and supplier relationships, agreeing terms and ensuring payments are med to pre-agreed timescales
*Assisting with month end procedures including financial reporting and any related analysis
*Cash flow forecasting
*Attending regular review meetings
*Process improvement and development across the department
*Any other ad-hoc projects
To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:
*Experience of managing a team
*Experience of managing AP and AR functions
*Strong Excel skills
*High volume ledger experience
*Strong communication skills
*Able to work well on own initiative
