A well-established manufacturing business based in Elm is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with a strong work-life balance.

Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.

This role would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Sector: Manufacturing

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong electrical or multi-skilled engineering background
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Strong fault finding ability on electrical and/or mechanical systems

• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance (PPM)
• Fault finding on motors, conveyors, sensors, and control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Experience working on production or automated machinery

• PLC fault finding experience
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing exposure
