Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse learners in a nurturing and innovative environment? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school committed to empowering students with autism to reach their full potential.

In this role, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with autism, fostering their academic and personal growth.

Implement individualized learning plans under the guidance of experienced educators and therapists.

Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to support communication, social skills, and independence.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and track student progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.

Support students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

We are looking for candidates who:

Have experience working with children or young people with autism or other special educational needs.

Possess a compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Are committed to continuous professional development and are open to training in specialized methodologies such as ABA.
