Afull-time postdoctoral position in Medicinal Chemistry is available in thelaboratory of Dr. Philip Reigan at the University of Colorado Anschutz MedicalCampus, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. We are seeking ahighly motivated and talented individual with a strong background in syntheticorganic chemistry to join our medicinal chemistry program, focused on thedesign and synthesis of novel small molecule therapeutics. Responsibilities ofthe role: support the design of novel small heterocyclic molecules,troubleshoot and execute multi-step chemical synthesis, purify and characterizecompounds, perform and/or interpret evaluation of compounds to develop SAR,present research internally and at scientific conferences, maintain a highlevel of productivity, accurate and timely documentation of work, and supportpartnerships with collaborators. Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and will follow the NIH compensation scale for postdoctoral fellows. The University of Colorado offers afull benefits package.
